Our Operations

Logistic Services Division of Modern Pharmaceutical Company provides to both internal and external customers logistic services solutions which includes amongst others Import/Export, Clearing of airfreight and sea-freight goods, Warehousing, Freight Management, Handling, Distribution, Customer Service, and Value Added Services involving Pharmaceutical, Nutrition, Health and Personal Care products, Medical and Laboratory equipments and supplies.

The Division utilizes 71,000 square feet of warehouse area that are temperature controlled facilities. ISO Certified since 1999, the Company Quality Management System is regularly maintained on a continuing basis and constantly improved to meet qualification standards as well as International G.D.P. through many multinational external audit approval from principals (.e.g., BMS, Sanofi Aventis, etc.). LSD has warehouses located in Sharjah (Main warehouse) and Abu Dhabi Mina Area (port) To meet the international standards of GDP, it is equipped with a Cold Room (2°C to 8°C) and a Freezer (-20°C) to handle cold-chain materials with storage temperatures monitored on a 24-hr basis.

Fleet Management covers all of UAE distribution and presently has 30 fully equipped assorted vehicles including refrigerated and fully insulated delivery vans. Following a daily/weekly delivery plan, this fleet of delivery vehicles reaches even remote areas of Fujeirah (Khorfkhan, Kalba, Dibba) and Dhaid, UAQ up till the UAE borders.

The division employs 100 competent and highly motivated management and staff that include pharmacists, B.Com and other expertise all committed to excellence in providing service that exceeds customer expectation. LSD is composed of 4 sections in the warehouse namely, Pharma which is in-charge of the medicines and nutrition items; PHBC in-charge of Personal and Health care ranges; Medical Equipment Section in-charge of Laboratory, Dental and other hospital and clinic equipments and supplies and the Receiving and Dispatch section plus an Admin and Customer Services Team and soon to be established Freight Unit of LSD.
