Our Operations
The Pharmaceutical Division is the fl agship division of Modern Pharmaceutical Co., one of the leading distributors of pharmaceutical products in the United Arab Emirates. Our focus is to provide life saving drugs and other vital medicines to our valued clients and patients in the Emirates.
The Pharmaceutical Division supplies controlled, semi-controlled, prescription and over the counter (OTC) pharmaceutical products to government and private hospitals and clinics, and also to retail distribution outlets throughout the UAE.
It represents in the UAE over 30 multinational and local pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Our Principals are charting the directions and setting the pace for medical research, enabling us to make available the very latest products the world has to offer.
| The following Operating Units comprise the Pharmaceutical Division: |
- Our Sales & Administration teams for Dubai and Abu Dhabi are the back bone of the Pharmaceutical Division, headed by two
leaders - the Sales Director for Dubai & Northern Emirates. and the Sales Manager for Abu Dhabi & Al Ain. The two sales
teams comprise 11 members and support staff of 14 employees for both the regions, each contributing their efforts to make
the achievement of our objectives a success.
- The Sales and Marketing Department headed by the Sales & marketing manager, comprises 2 product managers, 3 supervisors, 2 team leaders, 15 medical representatives and administration staff. The team members are fully qualifi ed and
are trained regularly at the Learning Centre of our Head Office, by our Principals or at professional training institutes.
- The Nutrition Department, headed by the Key Accounts Manager consists of a team of 16 members representing the sales
team, merchandisers and shelf fi llers handling customer trade channels in Dubai & Abu Dhabi. The department handles milk
formulae for one of the top 3 principals in UAE for babies from the day the infant is born until 6 years of age. These formulae
cover all the essential requirements a child requires in his / her important years of growth.
- The Regulatory Affairs Department, chaired by the Regulatory Affairs Manager, comprises of 2 Regulatory Affairs executives
and one regulatory affairs coordinator. The department is responsible for ensuring that all regulatory requirements are dealt
in a professional, effi cient and swift manner providing the maximum support and satisfaction to our Principals.
